world3
The latest generation, world3, pushes the porcelain to its limits
this material's transparence and fragility is exposed.
Only the strongest pieces have survived the manufacturing process
yet they teter between solid piece and broken fragment.
The ways in which the different organisms of world3 can be balanced
often seem to defy gravity but divulge the process by which they were made.
this world was completed during an artist residency at Greenwich House Pottery.
Miwa had a solo show there and they wrote this description of her work.
